Stonewall Kitchen Cheddar Ale Mustard & Sausage Crostini
1 pound all natural pork sausage
1/2 cup diced green peppers
1/2 cup diced onions
8 oz. cream cheese
3 Tbsp. Stonewall Kitchen Cheddar Ale Mustard
1 Tbsp. maple syrup
1 Tbsp. poultry seasoning
1 package crostini
chives for a garnish
In a skillet add the sausage, onions, and peppers. Sprinkle the poultry seasoning and cook mixture until brown.
While the sausage mixture is browning in a skillet. In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, Stonewall Kitchen Cheddar Ale Mustard, and maple syrup! The cream cheese is so much easier to blend, if you allow it to come to room temperature before you start to mix your ingredients.
When your sausage mixture is thoroughly cooked combine it together in with your cream cheese mixture! Scoop the mixture on top of a crostini and top with chives! The savory sausage and the maple syrup balance out the cheesy tartness of Stonewall Kitchen 's Cheddar Ale Mustard. The mixture can be made in advance and is a great appetizer to serve at brunch or any party!
