Be A "Chili Champ" With Bruce Foods Review & Giveaway

Bruce Foods, located in Louisiana has been creating all natural Cajun & Tex Mex products for the past 80 years!

According to their website ~This is Bruce Foods mission statement!
At Bruce Foods our vision of making healthy products and promoting recipes for the 'good life' captures the essence of who we are. Everything we do flows from our vision. We just don't happen to be a company that sells food. Our vision is based on meeting consumers' needs and making food that is easier, healthier and adds enjoyment and taste to life.

I was sent several products to become a Chili Champ! Mexene Chili Powder and Chili Seasoning Mix, enabled me to create a tasty bowl of chili in about 30 minutes. Mexene Chili Mix contains chili powder, onions, garlic, onion powder, salt, sugar, bell peppers, green chilies, ground cumin, marjoram, and cilantro. All natural spices, in a little packet to take the guess work out of the equasion Bruce Foods, makes it easy for you to become a "Chili Champ".  I browned a pound of ground sirloin, you could use ground turkey also as a lean alternative.  Then added a can of tomato sauce and Mexene Chili Mix. Bring the mixture to a boil, reduced the heat, then simmered for 10 minutes.   Dinner was served!!  My family prefers our chili on the spicy side.  I added a extra bit of Mexene Chili Powder Seasoning.  That is one of the great things about chili, you can added a little or alot of your favorite ingredients to make the perfect bowl for your taste.  To make our bowl of chili,  out of this world, I like to add some toppings.   A dollop of sour creme, some diced red onion, and some shredded Colby/Monterrey jack cheese.  Then, I drizzle my favorite Bruce Foods product ~ Louisiana Hot Sauce all over the top.  If you love hot sauce like I do and haven't tried Louisiana Hot Sauce, you truly are missing out. I add it to everything,  from a bowl of chili, to my scrambled eggs for breakfast and everything in between!
